Thanks for the note. I don’t believe your note applies here and here’s why: Full-time ADs are non-union, so collective bargaining has nothing to do with them. They do pay into TRS, but this would be a private organization - the IHSA - paying them a stipend, which they would pay taxes and social security on. It would be like an extra job, so there would be no burden on the taxpayer. The IHSA is a private business. This also could benefit ADs if they elected to host IHSA events say for 10 years and paid into social security, because they then could collect social security later in life. #MoreThanJUSTGames #IHSA

IHSA Class 4A Girls Basketball State 3rd Place Game: HALF: 2. @BTHSEastLancers leads 5. Rolling Meadows, 20-14. Lancers led by as many as 10 but a rough shooting day has the Mustangs right there with East. Lancers are 9/28 from the field (32.1%) and 0/5 from 3.

Imagine the atmosphere with Byron's and other student sections and fans at a sold out Shirk Center at IWU for the girls basketball state tournament. That would be an elite atmosphere. Nothing against ISU, but the athletes deserve a packed, loud venue.
