Everyone commenting on this is hilariously showing that we are right
More aggressive challenge here, the same rule applies to Maddison being taken out. Who cares if Nmecha “allegedly” skims the ball with his toe if he takes him out?
Different rules for different teams
Boss@BossTHFC
So apparently touching the ball negates any foul right? Right ???
English

@isaacjohnsonLL It was so blatant on Sunday. How a member of back room staff is allowed to run from the technical area, pass the message on and then run all the way back unchallenged is beyond me.

IFAB had the opportunity to eradicate a growing stain on the game in February but failed
As a result, without intervention, we will see more GK timeout cheating across this summer and beyond
The World Cup could make IFAB’s indecision more glaring #lufc

@theadelites Not exactly self aware a lot of em. All the bleating about the ref rather than facing up to the fact that, ref or not, their billion pound squad should’ve had more than enough to blow us away.
English

The entitlement of the ‘big clubs’ and the attention they garner never ceases to amaze me.
When Manchester United found themselves floundering in the first half last night against #LUFC, shell-shocked by Noah Okafor’s double; they resorted to throwing themselves to the floor and begging the referee for handouts.
Cunha got a yellow for diving.
Fernandes’ got a yellow for non-stop begging and dissent..
Martinez got a red card for pulling Calvert-Lewin’s hair.
ManchesterUnited have every off-field benefit stacked in their favour against Leeds.
Revenue that is multiples of the Whites, ground capacity, training facilities, wage bill - it all dwarfs Leeds.
But they have to resort to cheating when things don’t go their way.
Under 10s know that diving is cheating, that you have to respect the referee and they also know that pulling someone’s hair is a red card.
So for their club-captain and manager to come out after the game and bemoan the referee - and for that to dominate the media narrative - rather than the brilliance of Leeds United and their tactics is a stunning display of entitlement and faux-injustice.
A tug on the hair is a red card.
Now can we talk about Leeds United’s history-making performance?
English

@rioferdy5 @FA_PGMOL Bleating like this? Surely the bigger picture is your billion pound squad couldn’t get the job done against little old Leeds?

@Alex_Niven A lot of schools in the UK are still trying to teach kids to read and write properly at 14-15.
English

Another example of how the culture wars are so often fought on the ground of utter phantasmic bullshit. Ensuring every 14-15 year old school pupil has read Milton, Hobbes, Book of Common Prayer etc is as absurd now as it would have been 100 years ago
James 🇬🇧 👑@TypeForVictory
Every British child should leave school with a working knowledge of the KJV bible, Shakespeare, Homer, the Book of Common Prayer, Beowulf, Milton, Chaucer, at least one victorian novelist, and core political texts (Magna Carta, Hobbes, Smith). They're core to everything else.

@PootballFundit @FootballCliches No where near as disconcerting and creepy as your tweet.

@graceelizh @StanSportFC Give over ya snowflake. Were you whining like this when Rooney and Neville didn’t sing it?
English

If you won’t sing the national anthem of the country you’re playing for, you shouldn’t represent that country.

"We'll have to fight until the end."
Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke remains full of confidence his side will secure Premier League survival after the Whites draw 0-0 with Brentford.

DF: "Edge one point closer. Need five to seven points. Win two games, or one win and few draws, or draw every game. Forty definitely keeps us up. Not an easy cruise. Expected a tough season, fighting to the end. This mentality and performance is enough to get those points." #lufc

Jesse Marsch believes there was a prejudice against him at Leeds, and Ted Lasso didn't help.
The now Canada head coach goes on to say Leeds' players were already "beaten down" when he took over at the cub.⚪️

@reece_dinsdale Oh, the old "Racist and Bigoted" routine.
How original.
At least you're keeping faithfully to the script. Well done.
English

Funny that, because I remember thinking you might be a racist and a bigot.
Oh, look… you’ve missed a bit!
Higgy@higgyboson
I once showed Reece around a flat I was painting in Kentish Town just before he was in Coronation Street. He seemed like a level headed bloke at the time. He must have been acting.
English

Except we kept the team up. 🤔

Nobody cares about yours or Big Sam’s opinions tbh the relegation speaks for itself.
