CII Punjab organised the Annual Business Conference on ‘Making Punjab Competitive: Bringing Stakeholders Together’, focusing on key priorities to drive the state’s growth and competitiveness. Emphasising the initiatives of the government, Mr Tejveer Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training, Government of Punjab, highlighted, “The Government of Punjab is taking a comprehensive approach to strengthen technical education by aligning it closely with industry needs. We are upgrading infrastructure across ITIs and polytechnics, introducing AI and robotics labs, and embedding digital platforms to enable real-time industry connect.” Building on the government’s vision, Mr Amit Dhaka, CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, emphasised, “The Government of Punjab is focusing on handholding MSMEs to navigate non-tariff barriers, supporting their access to new markets, and expanding funding avenues.
