Andaman Nicobar Chess Mahasangram 2.0,the largest chess tournament in the islands,concluded on 26 April at Netaji Stadium.Organised by the Directorate of Edn. & Sports in collaboration with ANCA,it featured 800 participants,reflecting excellence,discipline & true sportsmanship.

The 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 was live-streamed at PM SHRI GMSSS Hutbay with 121 students and 20 teachers participating. Students gained valuable insights on exams, stress management, and positive learning habits. A motivating and enriching experience

Pawn to Queen Chess Club was formally established on 02.02.26 at GMSSS, SVP with active participation of students & teachers. The club promotes chess through structured trg, regular practice sessions & inter-school tournaments. It was inaugurated by Principal Smt. Sangeeta Chand.
