@theicai - I want to bring this fact in front of ICAI that the examiner’s appointed to check the answer sheets are not doing justice to their work. They missed to check the answers, do totalling mistakes, give marks on arbitrary way. This has to be addressed asap.

A survey says Rahul Gandhi is the most popular candidate for the post of PM. What do you think? What percentage of people would agree with this?

Last night, I was sleeping on a small sofa in my mother’s room at the hospital, and like any son, I was extremely worried about her health. The whole night, I was comforted by only one thing. I was comforted by a nurse from Keralam who came in every hour to check on my mother. Every single hour, she would come and check on her. She would smile, and she would hold her hand. I found myself thinking about how many sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters have been comforted in their most difficult moments by nurses from Keralam. Early in the morning, I asked her, “Do you sleep at night, or do you work the whole night?” And she said, “I work all night.” So, while the whole world sleeps, women from Keralam, not only in Keralam but also in Delhi, across the country, and around the world, are comforting people, holding their hands, and making them feel at ease. For me, this is the spirit of the state of Keralam. : LoP Shri @RahulGandhi

@BPCLimited My consumer number is 98260. Want to bring to your notice that Urmil Gas Agency at Jaipur is not delivering Gas cylinder to it’s customers on time, and also all its phone numbers are either coming switch off or no response on these numbers. This is creating panic.

More bullshit from X. Fact: India didn't buy Russian oil in large quantities before Russia invaded Ukraine. It's blood money and people are dying. Stick that up your keister Mother Jones and shame on you.
Peter Navarro@RealPNavarro

On earlier post, you can see Indian special interests trying to interfere with domestic dialogue with lies about India buying Russian oil. Should X present this crap as comments from "diverse viewpoints"?

S&P 500: December disappoints. The good news is that a bad December doesn’t necessarily mean a bad January or year ahead. In fact, on the last two occasions the S&P 500 has fallen in December—2018, and 2022—the index has jumped more than 6% in January and more than 20% the following year. It could still be a happy new year for the market.

Ajay Bagga@Ajay_Bagga·
My 2 bits : Markets know. Markets are complex, forward discounting mechanisms that reflect oncoming events and trends. An Israeli strike on Iran is imminent in the next three days. Iran has sworn instant, widespread retaliation if its religious/political leadership or nuclear facilities are targeted. The Israeli calendar holiday corresponding to last year’s holiday of October 7th 2023 starts on Wednesday night. The US and European allies of Israel are trying to limit the conflict, with Anthony Blinken making yet another visit to Israel yesterday and then flying to Saudi Arabia. Markets will be on edge. Oversold Indian markets are seeing continued FII outflows. In the US, the US Dollar index has risen to 104.1 while yields across the yield curve are up 30 to 50 basis points from the levels before the Fed rate cut of September. Fed speakers have been at pains to say that future rate cuts will be slow and calibrated. All this is disruptive for EM flows. China is also seeing outflows after the first two weeks post the stimulus announcement led to a massive inflow of USD 53 billion into Chinese stocks. We have to wait for these geopolitical storms to work their damage through the global markets. And keep in mind what India represents. India represents the biggest opportunity to deliver growth, at massive scale in the world, for the next two decades. That creates great value for investors into Indian stock markets for years to come. So, keep investing regularly and focus on your own financial goals. We can’t control global events, though we know the extreme market reactions that follow. Given that recoveries are also very sharp and concentrated into a few days, the bigger risk is that of being out of the markets. Market timing works for very few investors and works consistently for none. In that scenario, sound asset allocation and long-term investing is the best bet. “Think India” for the long term in these trying times. And avoid jumping all in when you see the sharp rallies that will come. Measured, monthly, regular investment is the better way to invest. Volatility ahead. Hunker down and ride it out.
