End to end encryption keeps that data on the device only (no cloud storage, unless a backup is specified). So it is actually easier on our servers and lowers our cost to serve users. In case of back up, the encrypted device data is backed up but no server level features are provided (unlike Zoho Cliq, see below). Zoho Cliq, from which Arattai started, keeps data in cloud storage because business users and admins need search, filtering, archiving, integration and other functions. We are actually turning off that cloud storage in Arattai to offer end to end encrypted chat. That is in testing right now. We were going to roll it out in November and we have accelerated the schedule now.

चीन तो भारत से 500 साल आगे है जी. चीन की drone technology तो सबसे बढ़िया है जी. ऐसी बातें हमें सुनने को मिल जाती हैं.... खासकर उन लोगों से, जिन्हे हर बात में भारत की बुराई करनी होती है. ये वीडियो है चीन के Liuyang का... जहाँ एक drone show हो रहा था... फिर अचानक से कोई Technical Glitch हुआ और सारे drones लोगों के ऊपर गिरने लगे. और यह कोई पहली बार नहीं है... पिछले साल दिसंबर में भी Quanzhou में भी ऐसे ही हजारों drones show के बीच में ही नीचे गिर कर crash हो गए थे. चीनी माल का कोई भरोसा नहीं होता..... टेक्नोलॉजी में कितने ही आगे होने का हउव्वा बनाएं... लेकिन सामान Substandard ही होता है इनका.

Then we have a distributed framework that allows us to distribute the workload among many servers and databases, and provides fault tolerance, performance monitoring, security and so on. We have teams actively working on these frameworks and they provide strong support to the Arattai team. Our staying power comes from the depth of all the R&D we do. Recently I have moved full time to R&D and you will see many more innovations from us. Finally being a dedicated engineer is like being a Rishi. This is what I told our Arattai team yesterday: all of you have worked hard for over 5 years without expecting that the product would ever take off.
