It is now a double whammy for the tourism industry. Foreign booking cancellations are continuing to increase at an alarming rate; up to 30% for some properties for bookings until the end of April. Plus the fuel crisis means that the local market cuts down on travel too.

All protesting the fuel hike are uneducated and uninformed. The price hike is ABSOLUTELY necessary right now. GoSL was generous to go for a 8% increase, when it should go up by 10% at least. Unfortunately this is the situation. #GoSL should now look at the QR as well.
