Magnetic resonance physicist at MCW; father to two awesome kids; husband to someone who teaches people how to walk again. Tweets are my (not MCW's) opinions.

The top abstract in our special populations session goes to @BrynaGoeckner for her work on progesterone and estradiol with concussion and clinical outcomes in female athletes and cadets. Congratulations, Bryna! #EaRLYTBIConference @tbmeier3 @MedicalCollege

Happy to share that @ahwendowment has generously funded our proposal to establish a Center for Aphasia Research and Recovery! This marks a significant milestone in becoming a leading national aphasia research center. Exciting things to come! @LilResearchMCW @MedicalCollege

Last night, Nicolas Erasmus (SAAO) and Amanda Sickafoose (@planetarysci) successfully observed DART's impact with Dimorphos using the Mookodi instrument on the SAAO's 1-m Lesedi telescope. @fallingstarIfA also did a very similar measurement using ATLAS-Sutherland. #DART #NASA

Dr. Ehrenfeld exemplifies the VERY BEST of MCW and medicine broadly - I express strong support for his candidacy!!

“Welcome to ISMRM: the birthplace and deathbed of innovation in MRI.” -thought-provoking words from Marc Lebel @ #ISMRM22 on clinical translation of new sequences/methods. @ISMRM

TCIA has published the "Pseudo-PHI-DICOM-Data" collection to evaluate performance of de-identification tools. Synthetic PHI was inserted into DICOM elements to mimic typical clinical imaging exams. A de-identified "answer key" is also provided: doi.org/10.7937/s17z-r….

Tip for students going off to college: study 80s/90s pop culture. Particularly Ferris Beuller, Princess Bride, Simpsons seasons 2-5. Your gen x/early millennial profs will try to connect with you through these, and will be confused/sad when you stare blankly at them. Not joking.
