Went 4-1 at goldcon this weekend with BOC. Pretty happy with the list and just went down to KO in round 5 by 2 points in an excellent game. Got to play 5 great games with 5 great opponents. Awesome weekend of wardollies!

@JoelMcGrathMG That is exactly my thoughts. Super cheap and pump some serious damage. Long range shooting to clear screens and then get in to do some serious damage

I reckon the freeguild cavaliers are one of the best units in the new cities book. A big unit can pump out some insane numbers with minimal buffs and are a heap more interactive than fusilier spam. If the cav are on the small cav bases, look out for a big unit steaming across t1

2nd vampire lord on zombie dragon ready for painting. Pretty happy with how it came out. Really looking forward to painting this guy.

Pleased to report beasts are still a hoot to pilot. Took the beasts out for a run at the first pmtt round this year in new ghb. Got some dragon ogres back out on the table for fun. Managed to go 3-0 and take 1st. Check out the review below youtu.be/w_AnFBrbU88

That excitement when you see the model coming together how you imagined it... then see how much more there is to do! Just working on one bit at a time.. these centre peice modles sure take a bit

Taking a break from painting neferata (half finished) to make a start on my vampire lord on zombie dragon. Going for a turned vampire chaos lord. Alot of green stuff and work on base to go but think it is looking good so far.

Going to be giving boc a rest in a little bit after 4 years of playing it as my only faction. Love the death aesthetic so starting a SBGL army. Starting out with my version of neferata.

Making we some bullgors for that mortal wound life! One down 5 to go...

@JoelMcGrathMG Yeah thats fair. Haha I had thay view initially.. now I just convert the godmarked beasts to look like regular goats riding beasts to appease that inner voice 😁

@AOS_beasts Issue with gnarlstaff is getting it in range. Would go great on a discshammy. Nope, i refuse to. Marked beasts are weak, even if they're the best units available to the faction. I've always imposed this self comp on myself as I keep convincing myself in a narrative player 😂

After a couple games with new BoC, I find myself in a tough spot writing a list with all the 'things' in. Has anyone settled on something they're willing to try and do well with at an event, with the caveat of no marked beasts? I've got plenty of ideas, just not enough points

@JoelMcGrathMG Yeah sounds like that artifact and cygor priest are definitely a solid selection. Your not interested in running tzangor at all are you?

@JoelMcGrathMG How have you found the 9 bullgors vs 6? Is it overkill most of the time?also what's your thoughts the great axe vs shields? On the charge 6 bulls with shields do same average 16 mortals vs the 6 bulls with gt axe, 2dmg from attacks. Enough to delete most units/ characters.

@JoelMcGrathMG Has the cygor made its points back in your games or more a threat of the mortals stopping opps casting? Have you been using the prayer & gnalstaff to bomb objectives?
