I think you can only withdraw AVC after 5 years now. The quarterly withdrawal rule changed a while back I think.

This is the reality of 2026 and the new tax regime. You can protect yourself against this with AVC. With your AVC, you can load up your pension and withdraw 50% of your contribution quarterly. To be able to achieve this, you have to be very disciplined with your finances. For those who will argue about inflation, PFAs are returning 23%+ for Fund II, and you get charged a withholding tax on the interest at withdrawal.
