AI has been embedded for years we just didn't call it that so that level of technology is not disruptive, simply an advance on what we already do. Certainly digital radiography had greater impact than AI will on skill loss of a radiographer .... but #MedRadJClub

@MedRadJclub T3 (2/2) Anecdotally, medicolegal, ethical and professional concerns are not totally mitigated against, amongst student Radiographers. AI's safe implementation requires cooperation of Radiographers, which in turn involves a robust understanding of the technology. #MedRadJClub

@MedRadJclub T3 (1/2) AI could be more widely introduced to the curriculum of Radiography education programmes. Newly-qualified Radiographers should feel confident, safe and vindicated in their understanding of the integrated AI systems which their department uses. #MedRadJClub

T1 AI should be utilised in a way which is considerate of all stakeholders' perspectives; it must enable, not diminish, a patient-centred approach to Radiography. AI will be positively transformative, if its implementation is measured, justified and regulated. #MedRadJClub
