#ALERT: Al-Shabaab Leader Sheikh Ali Dheere Sends Son on Suicide Mission in Godka Jilicow Attack – 5 October 2025
In a disturbing propaganda release timed for Eid, Al-Shabaab revealed that one of its senior figures sent his own son to participate in a suicide attack on the NISA detention facility at Godka Jilicow in Mogadishu on 5 October 2025.
The video identifies the young attacker as Abdirahman, the son of the group’s spokesman Ali Mahmoud Rage, also known as Sheikh Ali Dheere. Analysts note that this is only the second time in Al-Shabaab’s history that senior leadership has involved their own children in such missions. The first recorded instance was in 2013, when the son of former Al-Shabaab governor Yusuf Sheikh Isse, known as Kaba-kutukade, carried out a suicide bombing at the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu.

The project could generate up to 11,000 MW and cost over $10 billion.
Exports to South Africa may rise from 2,500 MW to 5,000 MW.
If completed, Inga 3 could transform Africa’s regional electricity trade.

The obsession of some Rwandans wanting to be Congolese is on another level. Your father is Rwandan 🇷🇼, your mother is Rwandan 🇷🇼, and suddenly you claim to be Congolese 🇨🇩 🧐. Congo doesn’t even have citizenship by birth at least one of your parents must be Congolese for you to be Congolese. All Kinyarwanda-speaking people are not automatically Congolese.

#Goma : découverte d’une dizaine de corps de jeunes après une opération des rebelles du M23-RDF à Kayoyi Une dizaine de corps de jeunes ont été découverts dans une maison inachevée au quartier Kayoyi, dans la commune de Karisimbi, à Goma. Selon des témoignages d’habitants, les faits font suite à un bouclage du quartier dans la nuit du vendredi au samedi 14 mars 2026 par les rebelles du M23, qui occupent actuellement la ville. Des hommes armés auraient procédé à des fouilles maison par maison. Des résidents affirment que des jeunes garçons auraient été exécutés et que des cas de violences sexuelles contre des jeunes filles auraient été signalés durant l’opération. Des messages diffusés dans des groupes WhatsApp décrivent une situation de panique et d’horreur dans le quartier. Les habitants appellent les autorités de la République démocratique du Congo à intervenir en urgence pour protéger les civils. Les appels se multiplient pour l’ouverture d’une enquête afin d’établir les responsabilités dans cette nouvelle tragédie dans l’Est du pays. Selon une autre source indépendante, ces faits sont vrais mais ils se sont déroulés en février 2025 toujours sous l’occupation des rebelles du M23.
