WE HAVE ROUNDUP FREE WHEAT. 37 years I’ve been around our farm and not one time was roundup applied and then the grain harvested.

Rep. Thomas Massie says glyphosate is sprayed on ripe wheat to dry it before harvest. He says the crop is one step away from bread when it is hit with poison. Europe banned it, but Washington still allows it.

Take away crop insurance I don’t care. Doesn’t matter to me. I don’t plant crops to fail. I’ll be chopping 25+ ton corn silage on that field this fall. Couple dollars an acre difference in fuel costs isn’t going to change anything😂 go kick rocks

1. If approved by the Court, this class action settlement with John Deere will be a catastrophe for farmers and for the broader right-to-repair movement.
It will sacrifice the legal rights of hundreds of thousands of farmers for a pittance in damages and a mandate for John Deere to provide repair materials that is riddled with loopholes and, I believe, will ultimately accomplish nothing.
For starters, let’s talk about the damages. The repair restrictions by John Deere have been estimated to cost farmers $4.2 billion per year. This lawsuit priginally sought damages suffered by farmers as a result of John Deere’s illegal conduct over the FIVE years before the date of suit. That’s an estimated $21 billion in damages. This settlement gets farmers just $99 million — before attorneys fees are taken out. You do the math.
But what makes this settlement truly abhorrent is that it purports to solve the right-to-repair problem, when in reality it gives John Deere MULTIPLE LOOPHOLES through which to keep infringing on farmers’ rights to repair their own equipment and profit from that infringement *at the exact same scale* it’s doing so right now. Let’s talk about it.

John Deere has spent years blocking farmers from fixing their own equipment. They just settled a class action lawsuit for $99 million. This is a small win, but the battle is not over until we have national right-to-repair legislation with teeth. Nathan Proctor, head of the right-to-repair campaign at consumer advocacy organization US PIRG said it best: "They're not looking for five grand or something like that in the mail. Rattlesnake bite on face. This heifer is swollen and snotty from snake bite. She is breathing normally and walking well. Eyes and nostrils are puffed and swollen but functional. We will give her an antibiotic to help w infection but otherwise she should recover in few days.

An argument could be made that the draining of the Ogallala Aquifer is one of the greatest ecological disasters of the last 100 years.

I’ve heard some disturbing information recently from several people about Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano. This is the school run by Prestonwood Baptist Church. @Prestonwood @PrestonwoodPCA @jackngraham
There have allegedly been complaints by parents about scholarship athletes who are not governed by the same rules as all students.
Allegedly some of the athletes recently stole from Scheels but the police were not called, just Prestonwood.
Allegedly one of the athletes sexually assaulted another student in the campus parking lot. It seems this is being covered up. There may be a lawsuit coming.
