Buckingham Palace has reportedly confirmed that the king will not be issuing an Easter message this year.
Apparently, it isn't traditional for the monarch to issue a special message at Easter.
Well, fine. But the king did issue a special message for Ramadan in February. So many Christians will understandably feel slighted.
And many others will see it as yet another example of asymmetric multiculturalism.

I’m a royalist, a dedicated royalist in fact. However this King is very much testing that faith and loyalty.
If our monarch doesn’t believe in our history and culture, what role is he serving? What are our armed services fighting for? Who is defending the faith?

@nonregemesse On a point of accuracy, this isn't strictly true. Under the 1701 Act of Settlement, the Sovereign can't be Roman Catholic, but there is no strict requirement for them to be Anglican, only in communion with the CofE. Kings George I and II were both lifelong Lutherans.

The mob‑like scenes at the University of St Andrews towards Reform UK student supporters were utterly disgraceful.
Together with @reformparty_uk Scotland Leader, @Malcolm_Offord I have written to the university demanding action to uphold free speech and protect every student’s right to express their views without fear.
Intimidating young people for their political beliefs is unacceptable in any free and democratic society.
