We organized our first writing workshop for Afghan youth in Canada as part of our advocacy program. Topics included policy briefs, research skills, audience analysis, thesis writing, and a short pre-writing exercise.

We are grateful to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for providing the venue for our in-person consultation. Participants, both in person and online, also had the opportunity to engage with and learn more about the work and mandate of the OHCHR.

In Nov 2025, APT launched an online survey to hear from Afghan youth inside and outside the country. 83.9% say education & women’s rights are urgent, and more than 50% feel they have no voice in decision-making. Read the full report: aptyouth.org/survey-finding…
