Shri D. Bhaskara Rao DDG (Rural), APLSA held key meetings in Mulugu & Warangal on 9–10 April. Focus on CBuD, telecom infra support, 4G saturation, and coordination with departments. Discussions with DC & CMD, TGNPDCL covered Smart Metering, e-services, and pending issues.

On 27/03/26 APLSA conducted UL-AS, UL-ISP & UL-NLD licence inspection of Airtel at Hyderabad under DDG (T) Shri K. Rajasekhar.Documents, network connectivity & equipment certifications verified in presence of Airtel CTO & team. DoT stressed curbing unauthorized connections.

Chakshu-based intel + CDR analysis exposed illegal telecom setup in Visakhapatnam. Joint action by AP LSA & AP CID dismantled operations.Fraudsters used old phones/SIMs for impersonation calls; active SIMs sold in Delhi (~₹1200). ₹3.3 lakh seized | 3 arrested | FIR filed.
