Japan was so right the belmonts are the worst character in the game. If this character had even a single good move outside of fair and bair then Aghi would be #1 in Mi but every single time you die to Belmont it is 100% your fault and the Belmont made the play of a century.

@DTP_26 At least how I understand it in other fighting games it is intentionally doing some spacing to make your opponent whiff and then hitting them for it.

(Not trying to dunk op, genuinely just to discuss / ensure I have the right idea) To my understanding, a whiff punish is reacting to the fact that your opponent missed a move and THEN punishing it, not preemptively picking an option you know will beat the move you’re expecting
