Does anyone have strong feelings about kitchen appliance brands? We cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily currently. Run dishwasher 1-2x per day, need fridge/freezer space for 8 (usually).

@ShaneGoldmacher Yup, the ConEd plant in Astoria at 20th ave between 27th and 28th. We could see/hear it from our house on 19th St. Lights flickered and then there was a rumbling. The sky turned bright blue and white smoke poured into the sky for several minutes.
