Główny problem CPAC 2026 polega na tym, że stał się on nieznaczący. Mało kogo w USA obchodzi, co tam zostało powiedziane. Nie pojawił się na nim ani Trump, ani dwóch głównych kandydatów do nominacji republikanów w wyborach prezydenckich — JD Vance i Marco Rubio. Żadne istotne przesłanie z CPAC nie wybrzmiało poza salę konferencyjną, gdzie połowa miejsc świeciła pustkami. Najgorętszym momentem czterodniowej konferencji było wystąpienie Rezy Pahlawiego, którego administracja Trumpa odsunęła na boczny tor i w którym nie widzi przyszłości Iranu. To paradoks, że najwyższym rangą gościem konferencji ruchu America First był polityk z Polski. CPAC nie wniósł niczego do debaty publicznej w USA.
