We're witnessing Blue-Chip NFT capitulation. We're in a state of overvaluation, market saturation, lack of innovation, and market volatility which has lead us to a decline in sales and reduced investor interest. The death of these blue-chips is a natural part of the market’s evolution and will likely lead to the rise of new and innovative projects in the future. The way the space moves, I'm extremely doubtful that the current projects will get a second chance, but we never know. Projects are currently functioning as fundraisers with plans to add utility later. This lack of clarity and long-term direction is making it difficult to maintain popularity and value. What should the next generation do? One thing is for sure, the love for art remains a constant in this space. The challenges faced by blue-chips highlight the importance of long-term direction, innovation, and utility. To address this, the next generation of NFT projects should focus on building utility (besides f'in staking) into their products from the start, with a clear understanding of user needs and a well-defined purpose and direction. Projects that prioritize utility are more likely to be successful and attract and retain users over time. The NFT market needs a new wave of utility-focused projects. Those are just my thoughts on the current situation.
