Meet #ARCSScholar Emily Powsner. Emily is a Bioengineering student at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on improving the scalability and therapeutic efficacy of EVs with enhanced therapeutic properties to promote large-scale biomanufacturing.

Janis has been an active member of ARCS Atlanta since 2016.  Every year since joining, she has taken on one of the “big” jobs that are essential to our chapter. Janis is the epitome of an ARCS Light. We are honored to have Janis Henry as our 2026 Atlanta Chapter ARCS Light.

Briana Ondatje is studying neuroscience and life sciences at Arizona State University. Her research is focused on ALS/FTD, glia biology, neurodegeneration, iPSC modeling.

Congratulations Elli Nesbitt from ARCS Metro Washington Chapter. Elli did an incredible job leading the Hall of Fame committee this year. The process was smooth, communications were thorough, and it was a delight joining her for the interview with our new inductee.

Ash Milton is a student at University of Minnesota studying human computer interaction. Her current research interests are focused on understanding the experiences and needs of users when navigating social media and search engines.
