I implore anyone to try to pirate Zero Parades. I know ZA/UM are scum of earth, but the team behind this aren't the shitty owners but a skilled group of artists and writers I've been absolutely charmed by so far. Its got a lot to show. Just don't give the company a single dime.

Aside from looking better, colored buttons actually served a purpose. Music rhythm games like Parappa or Yakuza karaoke would use color to help you press buttons with muscle memory.
Same with QTEs, sometimes you’d press buttons faster based on color and not shape
