@Out5p0ken Incorrect. Tariffs raise the price on goods coming from a specific country. So for example, Increase tariffs on China, China has to pay the difference or pass it onto the consumer.
The consumer doesn't want to pay the higher price so China has to eat it or meet in the middle.
