After Barry Neufeld was fined $750,000 by the BC Human Rights Tribunal for his comments on gender identity and sexual orientation, rather than questioning the decision, the legislature in Victoria voted to affirm support for the BC Human Rights Code.

The Neufeld decision of the BC Human Rights Tribunal, released last week, is truly terrible. Gender critical speech and criticism of SOGI123 = hate speech. This ruling means that these issues should not be debated, and attempting to debate them could lead to financial ruin.
