@chwbite @babiebluemovie @LilRooftop @user7643789327 I get it, it's easy to get riled up on here sometimes. How the algorithm works to prioritize engagement of any kind certainly doesn't help
English

@ARandomDude143 @babiebluemovie @LilRooftop @user7643789327 ok u right. I'm drunk but ik right from wronf when I'm sober and this ain't right.
English

i dont base my morality on what men do or don't. i think bodyshaming is wrong in any capacity, its that simple.
kiki@babiebluemovie
men don’t defend women like this btw
English

@HunterNewberry8 @dissidentwest I would say a collection of transistors maybe can be conscious
However, that depends on what exactly consciousness is, which is hard to define
Even if they can be conscious, it doesn't mean they are currently. That also still depends on the exact definition
English

@dissidentwest Why can a collection of neurons be conscious and a collection of transistors not?
English

@estherzelda0514 @CarsonJRuss While that is a possibility, and the guys would be terrible if that is the case, this kind of assumption can be dangerous as well
Filling in blanks with our own experiences will lead to mistakes that we aren't able to recognize because our own experiences are limited and biased
English

@CarsonJRuss Lol, the way you wrote this sounds like your buddies threatened to off themselves if she left and she was like "okay do it" to that manipulation.
English

I know you guys are literally just girls and all that but I only have like 5 close friends and 4 of them wanted to die last year for what a woman did to them
may@tmtwzm
Men are undatable and if you're gonna do it then you have to be okay with the fact that it's morally, logically, spiritually incongruent. Peak cognitive dissonance for the female experience
English

@Xphxxt @nogoodbrye @estherzelda0514 @CarsonJRuss Genuinely, this is just a human problem. Plenty of men do the same
This really happens with most controversial topics, and our online ecosystem prioritizing whatever gets the most engagement certainly doesn't help
English

@babiebluemovie @chwbite @LilRooftop @user7643789327 Of course I'm now blocked because I "missed the point", when my actual argument is that your point is actively more likely to hurt innocent people than it is to help anyone
English

@babiebluemovie @chwbite @LilRooftop @user7643789327 In the end, this isn't about men's feelings, but about being a good person. A good person doesn't justify hurting innocent people because of the actions of awful people
If you can't be consistent about that, you are going to hurt people who don't deserve it
English

@babiebluemovie @chwbite @LilRooftop @user7643789327 Then if you saw a man say a woman's body type was repulsive, what would you think about that?
Personally, I would still find it to be awful all the same. If you think it's acceptable, then at least I'll understand the root of where we disagree a bit more
English

@chwbite @LilRooftop @ARandomDude143 @user7643789327 if a trans man looks like a man then babes i’m not into it. i don’t have to explain myself to u. it’s not that deep. god forbid a woman call a man ugly fr
English

@sassy_gael2 @CarsonJRuss I understand that men tend to do more violence on women than vice versa overall, and that needs to be addressed
But that doesn't mean any men's problems should be ignored. We don't have to treat these two problems as conflicting
English

@sassy_gael2 @CarsonJRuss Most people are not going to judge situations in a completely detached way, only based on how bad it is overall
They judge based on how it affects them emotionally, so of course they care more about the fact that people made them want to die themselves
English

@babiebluemovie @user7643789327 Is this statement meant to disagree with mine?
Do you mean for you to attack all men, or is this meant to attack the ones doing this heinous shit?
English

@ARandomDude143 @user7643789327 we live in a patriarchy. men are killing women every single day and u think i give a fuck about men’s feelings ???
English

@babiebluemovie @user7643789327 Attacking anyone for any reason besides their own choices is inherently wrong
English

@user7643789327 saying we can’t say certain things about men bc it can affect women too does absolutely nothing but good for the patriarchy i fear
English

@anthony_ravi0li @Xalisnt @mellamanFILEST @Gluvehcanon Are you basing your belief off of your own experiences with men? If so, where do you primarily notice men acting in this way in your day to day life?
English

@YeoshinLourdes @cleomeohmy Genuine question, but do you believe that all, or even most men are violent in this way?
English

@cleomeohmy tens of thousands of male-driven femicides are recorded each year. many thousands more happen under the radar. men and boys rape and murdere women and children every few seconds, daily. your little spiel about ~intersections~ and ~nuance~ is a nasty, condescending crock of shit.
English

its time to be honest about the primary reason that adult women in 2026 are still choosing to partner with men: each thinks she, individually, is special enough to somehow defy a reality that has been unequivocally reflected through millenia of historical data. this is misogyny.
Solyricon@Solyricon
shaming women for loving men (who wear masks to disguise their poor character) instead of shaming men for having poor character is also internalized misogyny, btw. hope this helps!
English

@ItchFatAssCrack @cult_worshipper @puppizaii @unheardprayer Just because you didn't get affected that way, doesn't mean other people wouldn't be
It's only one contributing factor. Beyond that, you aren't going to be an unbiased observer of your own experiences
English

@AnUnspokenHeart @WereInHellYT A lot of online discourse already will take complex subjects and simplify them to whatever creates the strongest emotional response, thanks to how algorithms work
Teenagers probably would be impacted by this more strongly than others too
English

@AnUnspokenHeart @WereInHellYT I think that may be a bit of an oversimplification
Men developing fragile egos may be more of symptom that leads to more issues than the root cause itself
Our online culture isn't healthy in general, but for teenagers especially it may contribute significantly to these issues
