Hull KR becoming champions, winning the treble, is an extraordinary feat, considering the previous long wait for a major trophy. 3 years of stunning progress. As a regular reporter in these times, I saw first-hand how many impressive and decent people are there. Congratulations.

Some sad news to bring you. Rugby league great Ray French, who commentated on the sport for the BBC over four decades, has died at the age of 85. Our thoughts, from everybody at BBC Sport, are with all his family and friends.
