There’s something special about catching up with @ASBschool alumni internationally. Ms. Davis, HS Counselor, is currently in Scotland attending an International Counselors’ Program at the University of Edinburgh. “It was such a joy to reconnect and hear how they’re doing.”

We tried it, and it worked. It was a pleasure to join with other international schools to host our first inter-school alumni networking social in Madrid. Incredible to see our alumni bond over shared experiences that sparked new connections across the school communities.

From NYC to Oslo, Kuala Lumpur, Sweden and Cyprus, it’s been a full week of young alumni visits @ASBschool on campus. 😻 We’ve loved welcoming former students (and former teacher!) back, hearing what they’re up to, studying, exploring and figuring out next.

After moving from China to Barcelona, it’s wonderful to continue celebrating Chinese New Year with our diverse community @ASBschool ! Wishing everyone a fantastic Year of the Horse! 祝大家馬年新春快樂! 🧧

A walk down memory lane yesterday with a campus visit from former @ASBschool parents Michelle Robson and Andrea Never, who were part of our community with their children from 2004-08. They were amazed by the changes to campus and the growth and diversity of the student body.

We loved welcoming @ASBschool alumna Victoria Puglia ‘17 back to campus to explore potential online service collaboration opportunities between our students and the team she is currently working with in Uganda at the United Nations C4ISR Academy for Peace Operations. 😻

Welcome @ASBschool alumni siblings Julia ’25 & Zach ’23 Freer. Julia is at Haverford College, exploring a possible major in English/Psychology. Zach recently returned from a semester abroad in Sydney and is excited to continue his studies in Philosophy/Economics at Brown.

A favorite moments from the Christmas Alumni Drinks was seeing current ASB coaches alongside former team members from across the years. Different eras, shared memories, and a lasting connection shaped through sport. Relationships that last well beyond the final whistle. ⚽️🏀🏐🏈

It was an unexpected surprise to have Lucas Srba Cabeza ‘25 visit @ASBschool back in Barcelona from @brownu where he is considering pursuing a degree in Chemistry. When comparing his IBDP days to university life, Lucas shared, “it’s challenging but less stressful”. 😻

Though Nina Jansen attended @ASBschool for just 3 years, the Dutch alumna was excited to return to campus yesterday to visit friends and teachers. Now a 10th grader at @AmSchoolHague Nina misses her life in BCN but has settled well into her new school and life in the Netherlands.

G11 alum and Brazilian Lucas de Andrade Saad returned to @ASBschool reuniting with friends and former teachers and coaches. He now attends Western Reserve Academy in Ohio and is back in Barcelona for winter break with his siblings Pedro ’21, Luiza ’23, and Paulo ’25. #ASBalumni

We were delighted to welcome back the Greenhalgh family, whose daughters Sienna and Gigi attended @ASBschool last year. Now living in Virginia, the girls were eager to spend time on campus, reconnecting with many of their former teachers and friends. 😻
