ASCTE’s World Language classes celebrated Culture Day! 🌎 Students explored Hindi, Russian, and Chinese cultures through traditional foods, henna painting, a Russian game, calligraphy, and even traditional attire. A great way to bring language learning to life.

ASCTE students explored future service pathways at our Military Service Fair. Representatives from service academies, Congressional offices, UAH and AAMU ROTC programs, and the Army, Navy, and Air National Guard connected with our Sentinels to share opportunities for service and leadership.

ASCTE was honored to host the first stop of Alabama A&M University’s President’s Tour! Our students received more than $389,000 in scholarships, presented by AAMU President Dr. Daniel K. Wims. Congratulations to these outstanding scholars! 🎓

Can we let you in on a little secret? 🤫 We love making learning fun at ASCTE! From building model robots to using marshmallows in creative lessons, our instructors keep students engaged and curious every day. Learning here is anything but boring. 🤖

ASCTE students are enjoying wonderful days of learning and exploring in Boston and New York City. Students are tracing the story of America, touring historic landmarks, visiting college campuses, and building real-world skills while navigating two major cities. Excited for future travel adventures to Japan, Italy, and Greece. 🌍✈️

✈️🌴 Our faculty and staff kicked off Spring Break early with Passport to Spring Break! They “traveled” around the 2nd floor making stops at spots like the souvenir shop and flip flop shop while rocking their best tropical resort attire. 😎🩴 Vacation vibes achieved! ☀️

The ASCTE Concert Band earned a SUPERIOR rating, the highest possible, at the Alabama Bandmasters Association Musical Performance Assessment. This event allows bands to perform for qualified adjudicators and receive feedback on their performance. Congratulations, ASCTE Band!

Four incredible days in NYC for our Model UN team at the Global Citizens MUN Conference! 🌎 2,000+ delegates. Top awards in 5 of 6 committees (some 200+ students). And we brought home the Best Small Delegation Award. 🏆 Proud of how our Sentinels represented ASCTE and our state on the global stage!

Engineering Week may be ending, but at ASCTE, engineering happens every day. ⚙️ From robots and weather balloons to engineering in The Great Gatsby, gingerbread builds, and GreenPower racing innovation are part of every class. We don’t just celebrate engineering. We live it.

ASCTE President @MattMasseyAL was excited to speak at the 14th Annual State of the Schools, one of Alabama’s premier annual education events. He shared how ASCTE is preparing students across the state in cyber & engineering to graduate workforce-ready and lead the future.

🎶 Bad boys, bad boys… 🎶 Chief Harris joined Mr. Six’s Government class for a hands-on lesson in the Criminal Justice System. Students wore “drunk goggles,” drove pedal karts, and experienced a mock traffic stop & field sobriety test. Fun to watch. Serious message. 🚔

What better way to kick off Engineering Week than for ASCTE ACCEL to visit Opp Middle School for an ACCEL Camp! 🚀 Seventh graders spent the day designing, building, and launching rockets, applying creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through hands-on, real-world engineering activities.
