🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Teams from @CulterSchool @milltimbersch & @CultsSchool took part in our Team Relay Running event today! Along with teams from Airyhall & Broomhill, races took place for P3 teams, P4-5s & P6-7s. Was great to see so many pupils out enjoying the sun & doing their best! 🌞🔆

🏃‍♀️100 Mile Running Challenge!🏃‍♂️ @CultsSchool P5-7 Running Club completed an amazing 100 miles before school this morning! Working as a team to complete laps of the field, they managed to run a combined total of 110 miles! ✅A great end of term challenge completed!

🏐P7 Volleyball - today was the final sport in our P7 Transition Club. An enthusiastic group of P7s came along today to give it a go. A big thanks to Mr Allan and Mr Emslie for running today's session.

⚽️ We ran some P1-P2 Girls Football Festivals today at @CultsSchool & @milltimbersch to promote women's football before the Euros take place this summer. Over 100 girls across the 2 schools got involved in the events which were run with individual classes 👏

⚪ P7 Netball - another popular session today as part of our transition sports programme for pupils coming to Cults Academy next year. Big thanks to all the S6 pupil volunteers who ran the session for the girls 👏

⚽️P7 Football - almost 40 pupils along this afternoon to transition event at Cults Academy. Pupils from @CulterSchool @CultsSchool & @milltimbersch took part in a round-robin competition. Big thanks to Miss Bowie and senior pupil helpers for running the session.

🏑☀P7 Hockey in the sun! P7s got a chance to join in with some after-school hockey today as part of our transition activities. Big thanks to the Academy girls for leading the session! 👏

🏸P7 Badminton We had a great turnout for our first P7 Transition Sport today. A mix of kids from 7 different schools came along for some badminton games and activities. Miss Strachan spoke with the pupils about badminton and PE opportunities available to them after the summer.

🥏 We had a P6-7 Ultimate Frisbee event yesterday with pupils from @CultsSchool @CulterSchool Many had never played before but all did great & thanks to @UKUltimate pupils got a free frisbee to take home at the end! Miss Macrae & I enjoyed rolling back the years to play!

⚽️P4-P7 Girls Football We had 36 girls from @CulterSchool @CultsSchool @milltimbersch @AiryhallSch & @hazleheadschool at Cults this afternoon for a P4-P7 girls football festival. Big thanks to Wendy for setting this up to promote this summer's Women's Euros in Switzerland 🏆

🏃‍♂️Another year of Cults Fun Runs is over! A fantastic turnout with over 200 pupils running every week 😵‍💫 🏃‍♀️ 240 pupils ran at least one race 🏫 13 different schools represented 🗺 611.2km run in total across 4 weeks (yes, I did the maths) Well done to all runners!

🏃🎽P5-7 Athletics Meet Big thanks to @rgcsport for hosting a group of @CultsSchool @milltimbersch @CulterSchool pupils this afternoon for a mini athletics meet. Our pupils got to take part in some friendly competition across 60m, 400m, long jump, shot putt and 4x100m relays!

🤾‍♂️P1-P2 Dodgeball Festival! We had a great group of P1 and P2 pupils at Milltimber this afternoon for another dodgeball festival. Great to see youngsters from @CulterSchool @CultsSchool and @milltimbersch playing together 😁

🏑@BAMBC_Hockey are running a block of P4-7 hockey taster sessions this term and have had a great response to the free offer. As a level 2 affiliated @clubsportabdn club, it's a great pathway for youngsters from the local schools to get in to the sport! ☀

🏃Cults Fun Run week 2 - less sun but more pupils! Over 210 pupils from 11 schools completed their races today 🥰 A great turnout from the local community - thanks to everyone for supporting the kids today as a spectator, marshal or encourager! @sportscotland @Sportaberdeen

⚽GIRLS FOOTBALL FESTIVAL⚽ This afternoon we had a P1-P4 Girls Football Festival at Cults Academy; girls played in 4v4 games. We had girls from @CulterSchool @CultsSchool @milltimbersch @hazleheadschool & @FerryhillSchoo1 supported by 3 Cults Academy S2 Girls Footballers.

☀🏃Cults Fun Run Series - back for another year of races! A great turnout of over 200 pupils from 10 different city schools for an afternoon of sunny races today. A huge thank you to all of our Cults Academy pupil volunteers who did a great job helping out.

🏑Pupil Volunteering🏑 A big thanks to T who has been completing her Duke of Edinburgh volunteering with Cults Academy Hockey Club for the last 2 terms. She's been a great help to the coaches and has helped to keep the younger years on task!
