Great to see so many former players and friends this weekend at the @ASHOF induction banquet. It is truly an honor to be a member of this year’s class. I started my collegiate coaching career over 40 years ago. This isn’t just my award, but it’s a tribute to the hardworking players, coaches, and staff I was fortunate to work alongside. There’s no other country on Earth that gives you the opportunity to find this kind of success in doing what you love. It’s one of the reasons America is the greatest country in history.

The Starr-Sullivan Achievement Award recognizes a former collegiate quarterback that exhibits exemplary character and has made a significant contribution in his community.

The 2026 Starr-Sullivan Achievement Award recipient is former Troy quarterback Mike Turk. Mr. Turk will be honored this Saturday at our 58th Annual Induction Banquet.

Jon Johnson will be honored as the 2026 Mel Allen Media Award recipient this Saturday at our 58th Annual Induction Banquet.

Rece Davis will be recognized as the 2026 Distinguished American Sportsman this Saturday at our 58th Annual Induction Banquet.
