@ferrari77_PM @ZekeWhere I've put them in offerings from gamesir and gulikit, and i haven't had issues. i know extremerate has a version for ps5 controllers, maybe those controllers need the ps5 ones? get a custom 3d printed set made if not. my 3d printed set is better than my injection molded set imo.

@ASINISTERTACO @ZekeWhere I've put swappable notches into my Xbox Elite controller but I couldnt' find any notches that fit into something like the Vader or the 8bitdo controller. Have you seen that?

@ferrari77_PM @ZekeWhere any controller with swappable gates (or anti friction rings) can have notches. extremerate sells sets, or you can 3d print them yourself many controllers on the market have this feature, i believe 8bitdo has this feature on some of their controllers already. i could be wrong tho

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT i personally thought the old leveling system sucked tbh. i don't think i would know how they should execute it better tho. maybe it was an issue of RaDs not rewarding an appropriate amount of XP deltas aren't really interesting either though.

@ASINISTERTACO @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT Portal would be good if they removed deltas and allowed us to over level via orders and XP like we did with Bounties. Deltas suck. Remove them.

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT ? not once did i mention the genre. just because it has mmo aspects doesn't mean it isn't allowed to have difficult solo content (dungeons are not solo content)

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT bungie's obsession for making content that *everyone* can play led to the creation of the portal. they shouldn't have done that RaDs can (and should) have difficulty options, but we should also have different activities designed around different difficulty levels.

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT and the average player is notoriously bad at communicating constructive feedback, most people don't want the entire game to be a cakewalk, they just want content they can play.

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT an entry point into RaD content is needed though imo, and the best way to go about that would be solo, raid-esque content in my opinion. This could be the content that gets players "raid ready" so they don't get discouraged when they go to lfg and immediately see "ghorn must"

Yeah I think Marathon is a super fun game... but it was definitely put on "life support" to launch Marathon which I think was just a bad call. Also felt like a REALLY weird time for Bungie to switch up and stop appealing to casuals for a game launch. All of D2's lifespan, casuals complained, Bungie seemed to cater to them, and the game got worse over time. At least that's how things felt.

@ASINISTERTACO @sen_xxii @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT I literally only played with friends lmfao fire team finder was no use for me. Either I did it with my homies or I simply didnt. Solo content is no life behavior but anyone who can do it deserves all the praise and loot.

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT whether intentional or not, this culture gatekept many from ever trying aspirational content, and bungie's solution to it was to turn aspirational upgrades into sidegrades

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT I think this resulted in a subset of the playerbase that would always groan when the new meta "easy thing" was found in difficult content, which subsequently resulted in bungie only ever putting sidegrades in difficult content.

@sen_xxii @driippydragon @KingMeadowlark @gmeinersYT I don't think it was ever that players didn't want to find other like-minded players to do RaD content with, it's just that the game made it very difficult to do so. There was essentially no easy way "in" for players that weren't able to get in early.

@KingMeadowlark @driippydragon @gmeinersYT and yet, the game's reputation is the worst it's ever been because bungie repeatedly burned their dedicated audience. A casual audience exists on the back of a dedicated one.
