Not enough space on the page for all the positive things I have to say about ASU's new signing Filip Malesevic. Still a little raw, but fits Bennett's system perfectly. Expect him to be a meaningful starter within a year

Filip Malesevic, roll tape 🎥

@ASU_Hoops A huge get for Randy Bennett and the Sun Devils, Malesevic is raw as a player, but has true size and great feel for the position. Bennett's consistent development of player's like him bode well for Malesevic's career at ASU.

Kudos to Randy Bennett and his staff who have constructed a solid roster thus far. I have to imagine they round out the roster with another guard or two.

With addition of Malesevic, ASU now has three 7-footers on its roster. (Ben Defty & Nate Garcia are the other two.) Size should not be an issue for the Sun Devils next season.

NEWS: Arizona State transfer Dame Salane has announced he’s transferring to Tulane. The 7-foot-1 freshman out of Senegal spent one season at Arizona State, but did not see any game action. He played 10 games in the Swiss Basketball League in 2024-25 with averages of 7.8PPG and 5.9RPG.
