If you applied for OPT and you discover that you will not complete your degree on the program end date listed on your OPT I-20, you must contact the ISSC immediately. The ISSC will offer guidance on how to maintain your status while you are still completing your degree.

As an F-1 student, you have a 60-day grace period after your degree completion date to apply for OPT. If you wish to apply, you must request a Post-OPT I-20 from the ISSC and file an I-765 application before the end of your 60-day grace period. ow.ly/C5QT50LPmE9
