Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs has been continuously making efforts to improve the ranking further in Doing Business Report, 2021. Workshops/stakeholders consultations have been organized by MCD & other corporations for sharing ideas & feedback from stakeholders.

Representatives from @WorldBank also participated in the workshop. India is continuously improving its performance under Construction Permits indicator of World Bank’s Doing Business Report. It climbed to the 27th rank in DBR 2020 as against 52nd in DBR- 2019 & 181 in DBR 2018.

Addressed the participants on reforms implemented for facilitating EoDB in Construction Permits at a workshop on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in Construction Permits organised by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai today.

UBBL-2016 has been amended by @official_dda, which has reduced the building permit fee for resubmission of rejected applications.

There is no need for a separate application to DJB to apply for multiple water & sewer connections. Only ₹1 per sq.m. will be levied for first three re-submissions & 25% & 50% of Online Building permit fee for 4th & 5th re-submission.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi & Delhi Jal Board for integrating the request for multiple water & sewer connections with Common Application Form under Online Building Permission System (OBPS). Heartiest Congratulations!
