@MGR_Chille We realized our mission meant focusing more on facilitation, not creation. We don’t want stardom. We don’t want a troupe. We want to make arts more accessible, period. So we finally set that right.

@MGR_Chille The FF terms updated meant we couldn’t (legally) keep doing FFXIV shows, but that was never our original intent anyway. Even when we were deciding 501c3 or LLC, we envisioned a future of making arts more accessible involving physical spaces for communities to use too.

You might have noticed some thematic reposts. Don’t worry- we’re still here. It’s taken a long time to start. But it’s finally ready this year. Something incredible is coming. We’re helping build a Creative District.

This year we received a $10,000 grant to make this finally happen. We want to especially thank the Sherwood Foundation for making this possible and being a big part of making arts more accessible. ❤️

We have a municipal government we’re teaming up with under a Nebraska state programs. That’s all we can say for now other than stay tuned. This is the year we Ralph out of the internet and bring our mission full circle. Making arts more accessible, for anyone anywhere.

Nebraska's Creative District count currently sits at 29, and Hastings is aiming to be #30. The Heartbeat Creative District would promote art as an economic driver in the Hastings community, bringing live music, food and entertainment to the downtown area. ow.ly/gLiZ50T4cXx

The strategic plan for the Heartbeat Creative District in downtown Hastings was recently submitted to the Nebraska Arts Council for approval. Establishing a creative district would open the opportunity for a couple different grants. Read more here: cityofhastings.org/news/latest-ne…
