Hot water use can drive up energy use, but small changes make a big impact: - Lower your water heater temperature a few degrees  - Switch to low-flow showerheads  - Keep showers short - Do laundry in cold water whenever possible Simple tweaks save energy all winter.

After 9 AM today an odorant release occurred at a gas plant west of Cochrane. The plant has confirmed there is no active leak. ATCO crews responded and found no issues with the Natural Gas system. There is no risk to the public & odors are expected to dissipate this afternoon.
