On March 15th, Mr. Yu Kai, the General Manager of CATARC Co. Ltd. met the Delegation of Ministry of Automobile Industry of Uzbekistan.

On March 5th, CATARC Co. Ltd. and Michelin China signed Strategic Cooperation Memorandum in Shanghai.

On Feb 6th, Unveiling Ceremony of Intelligent connected Vehicle Test and Demonstration Area in Yinchuan of china was held successfully. CIVC Group of CATARC provide the services for the Area, such macro plan, technical service, project design and so on.

On Feb 7, some decision of CATARC was announced. CATARC was reformed as China Automotive Technology and Research Center Corporation Limited. Mr. Yu Kai would assume the post of President and the Secretary of CPC Committee and be nominated as the candidate of the General Manager

On Jan 23, the delegation of Russian National Automotive Research Institute headed by its Vice President Denis Zagarin visited CATARC. NAMI & CATARC signed the strategic collaboration framework agreement. The Vice President of CATARC Li Wei and TATC Director Zhou Hua attended it.

On January 17-18, 2018 International Seminar on User Evaluation and Innovative Application of New Energy Vehicle was held in Liuzhou. The permanent theme of the seminar was Focus on User Evaluation and Industrial State Innovation. More than 500 delegates attended the seminar.

On Jan 11，Foundation Ceremony of China Car Consumer Research and Testing Center and 2017-2018 China Automotive Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey Release Conference was held successfully. CCRT will release the evaluation management rules on May, 2018.

On Jan 11, China Annual Performance Awards ended in Beijing held by CATARC, CAMF.There were several awards, like comprehensive performance gold medals, individual performance gold medals, popular models, annual drivers, auto brand marketing leaders, auto tech advancement leaders

On January 8, 2017 C-NCAP Summing-up Meeting was held successfully. More than 200 delegates from vehicle and auto parts manufactories, research institudes attended. The evaluation and operation situation of C-NCAP in 2017 are summarized comprehensively.

On Dec. 13, 2017 China Intellegent Vehicle Championship inaugurated in the closed test area of national Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Shanghai) Pilot Zone. At 2:00 p.m., China's driverless car race started at Shanghai F1 international circuit.

On Dec. 5-6, SAE China and CATARC held China Automotive Intellectual Property Annual Conference and Inaugural Meeting of SAE-China Intellectual Property Branch, which was the only annual event with the theme of auto intellectual property.

On Dec. 1st, the third Summit on Global Strategy of Chinese Automanufacturers was successfully held in Shanghai, which was hosted by CATARC, National Auto and Parts Export Base (Shanghai) and Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) co. LTD.

On Nov 30 to Dec 1, the 14th CAIN Annual Conference was held in Shanghai, hosted by CATARC and Shanghai International Automobile City. More than 120 delegates attended it, and discussed the hot topics on development features, policy orientation, NEV and artificial intelligence.

On Nov 16-17, 2017 China Automotive Industry Regional Economic Summit was hosted by CATARC and Xiangtan Government. CATARC Vice President Gao gave a welcome speech. CATARC Vice President Wu participated the Seminar on the Development of Automotive Industry in Xiangtan City.

On Nov 12, Chicheng Cup China ATV Championship 2017 was successfully completed in Chicheng Auto Culture Park in Dengzhou City . Mr. Gao Hesheng, Vice President of CATARC Participated the Championship. More than 50 medias reported it. More 50000 audiences watched it.

On Nov 3-4, 2017 ChinaCarBody was hosted by CATARC, Hunan University, SINOMACH and NAM KWONG （GROUP）in Macau. The delegates from complete vehicle enterprises, auto parts enterprises and R&D institutes gathered together and discussed advanced car body technology.

On the afternoon of Nov 1, 2017, CATARC CPC Party Secretary Yu Kai received the SAE International delegation headed by Mr. Douglas Patton, its 2017 Annual Chairman. CATARC Vice President Zhang Jianwei and the relevant directors of TATC, AERI, ADC etc. attended the meeting.
