Atlanta’s youth deserve reliable ways to get around their neighborhoods. 🎒 Nichole Hollis took us on-site at Gideon Elementary to showcase how local infrastructure improvements can empower our students every single day.

The previously announced full closure of I-285 in southwest Fulton County that had been scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to the forecast for inclement weather. GDOT will announce new dates for full closure once they have been determined.

GDOT will fully close sections of I-285 starting Friday. Please plan your route in advance, follow designated detours, and avoid unnecessary traffic delays this weekend.
