ATMOS is cleared for European re-entry. Portugal's ANACOM has issued ATMOS the first national commercial re-entry licence, authorising the controlled return of PHOENIX 2.1 from Low Earth Orbit to the Azores. Today at @IAC2025sydney, Vast CEO @maxhaot, participated in an engaging discussion moderated by Tim Parsons of @spaceindustryoz with other panelists including Chris Blackerby of @astroscale_HQ, Jeffrey Hendrikse of @AtmosSpaceCargo, and Dana Baki of The Exploration Company GmbH, for a discussion titled, “How a Circular Economy Framework Unlocks Commercial Success in Space.” The discussion explored the ecosystem between commercial destinations, space technology providers, and public sector leaders.
