Earlier this week, the Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio #ATSSA Chapters came together in Auburn, IN, at the Byler Lane Winery for the 3rd Annual Crossroads Chapter Challenge. With nearly 60 members in attendance, this event was a great time for networking, camaraderie, and roadway safety collaboration, including raising funds to support the #ATSSFoundation. The New York New Jersey #ATSSA Chapter recently joined together in Albany for a successful Advocacy Day. Members advocated on behalf of A-9268, a bill requiring instruction on work zone safety awareness as part of the state's pre-licensing course. Last week the New England #ATSSA Chapter joined at the @CTDOTOfficial Training Facility in Newington, Connecticut, for a well-attended and informative chapter meeting. The meeting included four technical committee sessions - Guardrail, Pavement Marketing, TTC/Signs, and Traffic Signals - all working together on safety improvements and innovations for Connecticut's roads.
