I won #TXSD 2026 for SF6! Highly satisfied with how I play and remained composed when things went wrong. Everyone's support gave me the push I needed to close it out. Ggs and I'll continue refining my techniques! 🪄

@bar_barXII I'm just trying to say people can try, fail, and move on and enjoy/support that game they suck at another way. Why does it have to be unfortunate? Even if they don't support the game as long as they don't complain a ton about it I think it's fine. Cool to see you work though

@ATX_D0N I’m talking about people who don’t stick with a game because they think they’ll never get as good at it as their main game that they spent a long time playing. Never said anything about watching a game or whether it has a scene or not.

People pigeon holing themselves into ONLY playing one game forever cause that’s the only one they’ve gotten good at is unfortunate You’re not gonna get good at anything else unless you try, and learning and getting good at your second game is almost as satisfying as the first.

@Diaphone_ I get the advice, but do you have an idea of the specific weaknesses that were exploited vs you in the set? Unless you already know how your character was holding you back I think it could be helpful to hear specifics going forward.

I’m out of SWC, lost twice to Hotaru. Thought I played well but lack of prep time / character choice def held me back. If I’m going to keep playing COTW, I need to find a way to level up more effectively, it is very tough to get high level practice due to lack of players near me, and I encountered too many new strategies this weekend that I had to figure out how to beat on the fly 3 of my 4 losses this weekend were in final game final round last hit scenarios.. that has to be really unlucky too Also never traveling again to play a mid tier again. I need to get over this mindset where I feel like I need to play a unique character. I played a long set against ZJZ to prep against Tamago today, asked him for advice and all he said was Ronaldo has too many weaknesses 😭 Anyways a little salty but going to enjoy the rest of the weekend, play some 2x and watch finals. At least we made some decent money. Will come back stronger

I never do this but I will do it just this once. I'm officially 40. I don't have the time to put in to fgc like I used to, but I still enjoy playing/learning fighting games & supporting locals when I can. Thank you to those I crossed paths with as well past/present/future rivals.

@LolitaBot613 If it's COTW walking and throwing a fireball can be a bit weird but if you tk the input (end in 9 not 6) you'll fireball every time. If not - my bad
