Then this means Jesus Christ isn't pro-life. Jesus advocated for the "small crime" of cursing your own parents to be punished with death in Mark 7. This lady should repent.

Annihilationism teaches that for the majority of people there is no afterlife. That is one stepping stone away from the atheism i was saved from.

What this post isn’t telling you is that grandma is in Purgatory, suffering for her sins (which Catholic theology says Jesus hasn’t fully expiated).
The REASON she is not fine is due to the fact that she is now experiencing torments that may last for thousands of years before she finally suffers enough to enter heaven.
This is why, at every Catholic funeral, the priest will teach the people, “let us assist them with our prayers.”
Obviously, Protestants would pray for grandma if they thought she was suffering in Purgatory and needed our prayers to help get her out more quickly.
Modern Catholic apologists tend to downplay the true nature of Purgatory because it doesn’t sell well to the Protestants they are trying to convert. Go to old sources if you want to know what it’s really about. It’s not just “character transformation.”
Imagine writing the post below and pretending the issue is that Catholics love their grandmas more than Protestants!

Protestantism says “Grandma’s fine, don’t pray.” Catholicism says “Grandma needs you, pray.” Guess which one sounds like love?

@FatalInvesting 5. Most today would tell me that those in heaven are unaware of what is happening on earth. If they take this literally, clearly they know about what is happening on earth. If you're dealing to a protestant, show that RC's will use it to pray to dead empresses and other "saints."

This is wrong, not because the ten commandments shouldn't be displayed, but because public schools shouldn't exist in the first place. You're insane if you think this is worse than teaching our children Genesis didn't happen though. Video on this soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Texas Republicans just passed a bill forcing every teacher to post the Ten Commandments in their classroom. They passed it on the Sabbath… breaking the 4th Commandment. Maybe they should try following the Ten Commandments before mandating them.

@FatalInvesting 4. Your average Jew could easily see the connection between "soul/life" and blood, like when Abel's blood cried out from the ground.
This is clearly symbolic imagery.
The righteous' blood/souls cries out to God and He will avenge His holy ones.

2. It is a vision. These things didn't actually take place.
3. Modern Christians believe they'll go to the "presence of God," not "under the altar..." What does "rest longer" even mean?
