We aim to explore whether green spaces at hospital sites can provide benefits for in-patients with stroke, their families and staff, and identify the important features that make a difference.

Study: Exploring the potential impact of green spaces for in-patient stroke units: A mixed methods study After a stroke, rehabilitation activities are important for recovery. However, patients in stroke units may spend long periods inactive, causing boredom and low mood.

We held an event to celebrate the @StarStep_study , which looked at whether a self-management programme could help stroke survivors with aphasia and their families develop strategies and confidence to cope with aphasia in everyday situations.

Had a long but stimulating day @ #ICIC26. Pleased to have shared the experience of osteoporosis care for older women as a one example of some of the challenges of integrated care.
