Tuesday April 22, 2025 California will honor school bus drivers On behalf of Arcadia Unified School District, we send our congratulations to every driver and thank you for your dedication to the safety of children you help to transport.

April is #autismawarenessmonth, and Arcadia High School is proud to continue making the school an inclusive space for all students. The Special Education Classrooms at Arcadia High School are spaces where inclusivity and acceptance flourish. Special Education programs, as well as extracurricular opportunities are some of the ways that students and teachers work together to allow students a safe place to learn and thrive. This exclusive glimpse into the classrooms aims to introduce and demystify autism, shedding light on this topic while actively challenging and breaking stigmas associated with it.

Our schools are looking much better thanks to our incredible maintenance and operations and custodial teams. They have made great progress and we are definitely on track and planning to open schools back up on Monday. We will confirm via email tomorrow after one more assessment, but please plan on returning to school on Monday. Today was a big day. It was my 34th and final #ArcadiaFirstDay. There is still plenty to accomplish in the next 10 months, but today is the first time I have seen the finish line! It was a very happy/sad day. The first picture is from 33 years ago, and the second is today!

Thank you, Arcadia! 🥹🙏👏🐬💙 We had the privilege of officially celebrating the completed construction of our new Holly Avenue Elementary School classroom building at today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony! 🎀✂️ This incredible new construction marks the final funds from Measure I, a facilities bond Arcadia taxpayers so generously approved in 2006. We couldn’t be more thankful for all of the improvements to our facilities and schools that we have been able to accomplish through Measure I funding, which has touched each one of our 11 school campuses over the last 18 years. 🙏 As we continue to look ahead at #BuildingOurFuture through the recent completion of our new Facilities Master Plan, we know upgrades, safety enhancements, new classroom spaces, and more is an ever-present need, and we look forward to accomplishing even more through the steadfast support of our unparalleled community. 💪 #ArcadiaStrong #ImagineInquireInspire

It’s been quite the day for @ArcadiaUnified!
