I had a fantastic visit to the Asian University for Women. Meeting the students, including from displaced communities and refugees, and hearing their stories was very emotional. AUW’s work on women’s education and leadership is giving marginalised women a platform to flourish.

I also enjoyed meeting the students at the HSBC - AUW School of Apparel. Their Masters programme is supporting women move into management positions in the Ready Made Garment sector. Great to hear that Manchester Fashion Institute and Aberdeen University are key partners.
