@PlayByPlayGuy1 At first it was “we can’t afford it” at first, however when we called them out that D1 and D3 both spent a higher % of their budget on championships than D2…crickets. Now, NCAA D2 leadership is “staying in their lane” and following Charlie Baker’s attempt to appease D1

The d2 playoffs are not about finding the best 64 teams it’s about saving money plain and simple..Until regionalization is addressed, very good teams will continue to be left out..It’s time for leadership to step up at the d2 level and get this nonsense stopped

@GAC_Commish The base of any postseason plan should provide for conference AQ’s. That satisfies regionalization. The remainder of the field should be the best teams regardless of region. Details matter, but this is not as hard as others portray.

Fully understand that a true national bracket isn't possible in D2, but we shouldn't be satisfied as a division that we're leaving out Top 25 quality teams whether it's Central Region softball, Southeast Region baseball, or many other examples. We can do better!

Today's lesson in D2 regionalization frustration: Five of these 🥎 teams that are either 40-win or solidly top 40 in the Massey or @PEARatings will miss the D-II post season, while two regions with no one ranked higher than 64 (PEAR) or 88 (Massey) will fill 16 spots.
