This morning we hosted a celebration for our College Fair Winners!! Categories included- "You're Hired", "Design Star", "Best in Show", "Quiz Wiz", and many more! We are so proud of our 8th graders and their hard work ❤️🏫

College Fair Day 2 was a success!! Our 8th graders did an amazing job representing their college and answering questions from teachers, other grade levels, families, and they even quizzed each other! #AVIDAACPS #COLLEGE

Our AVID 7th graders enjoyed a Baysox Game on Tuesday for their educational day! We participated in educational activities involving math and science AND had fun watching the game!! #GOTEAM #GOAVID

Our 7th grade AVID students completed an egg drop competition! Students worked in groups to spend "50 dollars" to buy supplies, create a contraption to protect the egg, then see if their egg survived the drop!! #Cooperation #AVID

Our AVID 6th graders created business cards for their future careers with interesting facts and information! Then, they participated in a networking event to discuss their businesses and what it takes to go into that profession #AVID #AVIDaacps 🤝💼

Our 8th grade students worked hard on their Passion Speech Projects. They outlined their ideas, wrote a speech, created visuals, and then presented their speeches to the class! #publicspeaking #AVID
