President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President Aleksandar Vučić introduced members of their delegations. The Commander of the Honor Guard Company delivered the welcoming report, and the national anthems of both countries were performed. The Presidents of #Kazakhstan and #Serbia then proceeded to talks.

President Aleksandar Vučić of the Republic of Serbia met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Murmu thanked President Vučić for participating in the AI Impact Summit, and said that given Serbia and India’s competence in the field of Artificial Intelligence, it is an area where we can deepen our collaboration. The two leaders also agreed that there is immense potential for furthering cooperation between the two countries, particularly in sectors like information technology, manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, tourism and education.

The AI Impact Summit in Delhi has brought together the who’s who from the AI world. There is representation from over 100 countries. There are distinguished participants from every corner of the globe. Our aim is the same - leveraging the power of AI for the welfare of our planet.

FAIRNESS, FRIENDSHIP, SUPPORT 🇸🇰🤝🏻🇷🇸 Today, I had the honor of attending an event marking the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia. On behalf of the Slovak government, I extended my warm congratulation on this important holiday and thanked them for the friendship that unites our nations. I am convinced that there is a strong bond between Slovaks and Serbs – historical, cultural, and one of values. We are both Slavic nations and we must not forget what unites us. We have our own experiences, our own courage, our own pride. And it is precisely these values that shape us today. Slavic culture, its common sense and experience can help Europe more than anyone could imagine. Serbia has my sincere respect. I support its path to the European Union and I am convinced that if the country meets the conditions, it must be given a fair chance. Slovakia will stand by Serbia as a reliable partner and friend. Serbia deserves EU membership and is well prepared for it. The Slovak government rejects the discrimination against Serbia in its accession to the EU, which is obvious on the part of EU institutions and some member states. We also wish Serbian President A. Vučić @avucic all the best and much wisdom in getting the Serbian nation to where it belongs. To the most developed Europe. Thank you for the warm welcome and for the respect Serbia has been showing the Slovak minority. Long live the Slovak Republic. Long live Serbia. Long live freedom.

Bugün Sırbistan Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Aleksandar Vucic @avucic ile Cumhurbaşkanlığı Külliyemizde bir araya geldik. 🇹🇷🇷🇸 Bilhassa Balkanlar’da istikrarın korunması ve ekonomik kalkınmanın güçlendirilmesi açısından neler yapabileceğimizi ele aldık. 2015 yılında 100 civarında Türk sermayeli firma Sırbistan’da faaliyet gösterirken bugün bu sayı 1.500’ü aşmış, toplam yatırım miktarı 300 milyon doları bulmuştur. Sırbistan’la her geçen gün artan ticaret ve yatırımlarımız, ilişkilerimizin âdeta lokomotifi konumundadır. Toplam ticaret hacmi, geçtiğimiz yıl 3,5 milyar dolar seviyesine ulaştı. 5 milyar dolarlık hedefimize adım adım yaklaşıyoruz. Sırbistan’la aramızda dostluk köprüsü olarak gördüğümüz Sancak bölgesinin kalkınması için yapılabilecekleri de Sayın Vucic’le ele aldık. Kendisinin, bölgenin kalkındırılmasına yönelik projelerini takip ediyoruz. Beşerî ilişkilerimiz, münasebetlerimizin önemli bir boyutunu oluşturuyor. Halklarımızın birbirini daha yakından tanıma isteğinin en güzel tezahürü, artan karşılıklı turist sayılarıdır. Bugün Türkiye, Sırp turistler için ikinci turizm güzergâhıdır. Vatandaşlarımız da Sırbistan’ı ziyaret eden turistler sıralamasında ilk sırada yer alıyor. Sırbistan’da Türkçe öğrenimine yoğun bir ilgi görüyoruz. Bu ilginin Yunus Emre Enstitüsü ve Türkiye Maarif Vakfı gibi kurumlarımız tarafından layıkıyla karşılanması için çalışmalarımızı yürütüyoruz.
