Risk of a global war has reached its highest level in 60 years
Goldman Sachs analysts have warned that the risk of a worldwide conflict is now higher than during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Cold War, and the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.
According to their assessment, the world is increasingly splitting into opposing blocs, while countries are abandoning neutrality more often.
The concern is not about a single crisis, but about multiple hotspots of tension that are expected to intensify by the end of the decade.

@Just_sharon7 ⚽ Argentina has the slight edge. ⚽ Spain is one of the few teams that can dictate the tempo against Argentina. If they lock the midfield rhythm early, Argentina gets frustrated.

A stunning full-body mirror selfie of a beautiful woman in a cozy modern bedroom, taking a confident photo with a gray iPhone in her right hand. She has fair skin, blonde wavy hair styled in a half-up bun with a small white skull hair clip, loose strands framing her face, and wearing long dangling star-shaped earrings. She is wearing deep necked the official Argentina national football team uniform cropped knit: a light blue and white vertical striped jersey with the AFA crest on the chest, short sleeves or slightly rolled, tucked slightly at the waist, paired with matching black shorts, white socks, and football boots. Toned athletic physique visible, natural daylight coming from the window, wooden bed with blue bedding and potted plants in the background, green curtains, realistic photography style, highly detailed, sharp focus, 8k quality, cinematic lighting." 3:4

@rroller1970 @AntiquarianMuse “Same bird, hidden wings 🪽” describes a system that carries both light and darkness, capability and elevation, yet keeps those wings tucked — whether for protection, destruction, timing, or because the world isn’t ready for its full form.

@AntiquarianMuse That just shows how fucking stupid you are! The KKK was formed by the Democratic Party you stupid jackass! You’re too fucking stupid to have an account on here, you need to remove it so that you don’t make other people fucking stupid like you!

@vxylily Men often go quiet when they’re hurting — not because they don’t feel, but because expressing pain can make them look weak or get them in trouble. So they stay silent to keep the peace.

@nobleisawinner I have chosen the word fractal. A pattern that repeats itself across every scale, and choosing it signals that you’re seeing reality in layers, echoes, and self‑similar structures.

@krassenstein He can’t bring the dead back. He should focus on preventing escalation instead of treating it like a game. When conflict reaches this land, reality will hit — and since he’ll be gone long before that, he’ll never know.

@vxylily Peace of mind, less stress, and freedom. Some people have a way of inventing stress from thin air — acting like their leverage is a treasure chest and expecting others to bow to their demands. Absolutely not.

@nexta_tv The battlefield is no longer a place — it is a network. Distance no longer guarantees safety.
War has become non‑linear.

“They are used to it. We are experiencing it for the first time”: Russia prepares for a new reality of war
The next stage of Russia’s war against Ukraine could shift into a format of large-scale strikes on cities, similar to the “war of the cities” during the Iran–Iraq War in the 1980s. A source from Russian military circles told The New Yorker.
At the time, after failing to achieve a decisive breakthrough on the battlefield, Iran and Iraq began launching massive missile strikes against each other’s cities. Thousands of civilians were killed.
According to the source, Ukraine has been living under such attacks for a long time, while for Russia this is becoming a new reality: “They are used to it. And we are facing it for the first time.”
The New Yorker notes that the war is now effectively being fought on two fronts: on the ground — primarily in Donbas, where the Russian offensive has slowed — and in the air, where both sides are increasing their use of drones and long-range weapons.
Ukraine has significantly increased drone production and has begun increasingly targeting Russian warehouses, logistics facilities, air defenses, and oil infrastructure.
Russia’s previous advantage — its vast distances and strategic depth — has now become a weakness. Russia does not have enough air defense systems to protect its enormous territory.
At the same time, experts note that Ukraine also lacks a fully developed multi-layered air defense system.
Its reserves and capabilities are insufficient to intercept all ballistic missiles and new types of Russian drones.
