The project titled “The Transformative Power of the Minimum Wage,” in which our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Cem Korkut, serves as a researcher, has been awarded support under the SAYE Social Research Projects. We congratulate him and wish the project every success.

FinTechClub, affiliated with the Department of Finance and Banking, held its General Assembly and Executive Board Election with strong student participation. We thank the previous executive board for their contributions and wish the newly elected board success in the new term.

FinTeClub, the student club of the Department of Finance and Banking, visited BTK to learn more about digital transformation, cybersecurity, and regulatory processes. We thank BTK for its kind hospitality.

We congratulate Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali İhsan Çetin on his recent publication in Odontology, a Q2-ranked SCIE-indexed Springer Nature journal. We wish him continued success.

As FinteClub, we carried out a productive visit to Teknopark Ankara together with the students of the Department of Finance and Banking. We had the opportunity to observe entrepreneurship, R&D processes, and the relationship between finance and technology on site. Thank you.

We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Dr. İklim Gedik Balay, a faculty member of our department, has published her study titled “Understanding Return Variation in Crypto Assets: A Functional ANOVA Approach” in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Q1).
